Richard Jewell based on a true story and directed by Clint Eastwood. Richard Jewell ( Paul Walter Hauser ) is a security guard who was at the centre of the 1996 Atlanta bombing at Centennial Olympic Park. Jewell found the explosive device, then warned the authorities who started the evacuation, but the bomb exploded before the removal was completed, and killed one person, also injured 111 others.
He was quickly praised as a hero, not long before the FBI representatives involved thought that Jewell was the main suspect, turning him into a media target and upsetting him. The genuine bombing plane, Eric Rudolph, was identified as a suspect in 1998 and also detained in 2003.
